The Heartbeat of Our Mission
Discipleship is at the core of everything we do. Under the Apostolic covering of Mercy Hill Global Fellowship and the leadership of Dr. JP Price, Chancellor of the School of Discipleship, our focus is to raise believers who are strong in spirit, sound in mind, and disciplined in body. We follow the biblical model of forming whole disciples—those who grow in spiritual maturity, character, purpose, and lifestyle.
Discipleship is more than information; it is transformation. It is the lifelong process of becoming more like Jesus in thought, word, and action. True discipleship touches every part of a person—spirit, soul, and body—calling believers to intentional growth through prayer, worship, fasting, the study of Scripture, confession of the Word, service to others, and obedience to the voice of God.
At Mercy Hill Bangladesh and Mercy Hill Global, discipleship is not passive. It is a daily walk and a committed journey. Students learn not only from the Word but from the lives and examples of their leaders. They grow within a community that sharpens, encourages, and holds them accountable. As disciples mature, they are taught to disciple others, continuing the cycle of multiplication Jesus commanded.
Discipleship also means sharing your life, walking closely with mentors, and imitating their faith as they imitate Christ. It is about connection, relationship, and spiritual development that produces long-term fruit, not temporary enthusiasm. A disciple learns, practices, grows, and eventually leads—carrying the Gospel into their homes, workplaces, churches, and entire communities.
Discipleship has become one of the strongest foundations in our global work. In 2025, we celebrated the graduation of 40 students, each completing months of rigorous study, spiritual discipline, and leadership training. These graduates are now teaching others, planting churches, strengthening families, and advancing the Kingdom in cities and villages across their regions. And this is just the beginning!
As Mercy Hill Bangladesh continues to expand, our discipleship mandate grows stronger. We are committed to raising a generation of believers who know the Word, walk in the Spirit, demonstrate the character of Christ, and boldly fulfill their God-given assignments. Discipleship is not a moment— it is a life lived. And under the leadership of Pastor Liton and Arpa, through Mercy Hill Bangladesh and Mercy Hill Global, these lives are being shaped by His Spirit for the glory of God.
